About Us

Siyakwazi Marine

Siyakwazi Marine is a 100% Black-owned, Level 1 B-BBEE maritime skills development organisation based in Richards Bay Harbour, KwaZulu-Natal. Siyakwazi Marine was created to contribute to the growth, transformation and professionalisation of South Africa’s maritime and Blue Economy sectors.

Our unique strength lies in our harbour-based, workplace-integrated training model. We are not a training institution separated from the realities of the marine environment. We operate within a working harbour alongside commercial marine operations, licensed vessels and a regulated maritime environment. This enables learners to gain practical exposure and develop occupational competence in real-world conditions.
